Taking on Disney.

I may have finished this blog, but I’m hard at work on my next project. If you follow my Twitters, you are probably aware that it will be a Disney themed blog. I haven’t actually decided how it will be utilized, whether I will use it for my own personal experiences or if it will be informational. The thing is, there are a ton of informational Disney sites out there and does the world actually need another blog or site regurgitating the same information? Probably not.
It will likely be a combination of them both. I think I can bring some unique insight to the world of Disney, whether it be through the movies or theme parks. I have gone to either the Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World twice a year since 2003. That, to some may not seem a lot, but when you live in Oregon, with a full time job, it’s sometimes hard to getaway even if you have the vacation time saved up.
My next trip to Disneyland is the last week of June so I hope to have the entire blog done by then. Finishing shouldn’t be a problem since I will be using this theme. All I really have to do is create all the graphics and adjust some of the heights in my stylesheet. It all sounds pretty easy, if you’re familiar with creating blogs, but what I’m having trouble with is creating the graphics.
I have my header. That’s a lie, I have half of my header. I love the logo, but I just can’t get my menu’s colors right and it’s driving me crazy. I think I’ve come up with a solution, but I’ve learned that what I see in my head and the end result are two entirely different things. I hope to get this all resolved tomorrow and, because I get off early from work, I’ll be able to just blast through many of the graphics. It’s all positive thinking.
